Here we go..... Is it nessesary? When you look for matches do you pass up non sanctioned events? Second question..... are your scores being counted in the NRA competitor portal? I get complaints that scores get missed..... I know I submit them.... Is it worth while to pay NRA to keep scores if it is not up to date or missing critical data?

Nope, I club I belong to generally run non-sanctioned events. I don’t particularly care about a match being NRA approved. I only bought a scorebook when I went to nationals that year. Now with the portal I will do the same thing; if I intend to go to Nationals then I will send the NRA some money to access it. Otherwise I could care less about having scores reported.

i get the card/book/on line portal thing each year to have nra backing to show my scores for state/regionals/nationals. i don't care if the match is non-sanctioned or sanction. as long as the match is a well run match. hard to drive six hours plus trip/hotels to shoot a "bs" match.
